Over the past thirty years we have seen middle class wages decline and the top 1% gain up to 400% in income due to government policies that cater to corporate money. It is time to get money out of politics, overturn Citizen's United that treats corporations like people, and take back our democracy. Republicans like to complain about the poor on welfare but what about corporate welfare? If we truly are a nation "of the people and for the people" as our Consitution tells us, it is time to press our elected officals to represent Americans and not multi-national corporations whose only goal is to increase profits and be damned with a truly representatice democracy.
